2026 F-35B Role Demo Spearhead

The 2026 F-35B Role Demo Spearhead commemorates the return of one of the UK's most impressive flying demonstrations.

Following the hugely successful inaugural F-35B Role Demonstration in 2024, operational commitments prevented the display from returning as the UK Lightning Force focused on supporting operations, global deployments and major multinational exercises. In 2026, the Role Demo returns to RAF Marham Families Day, marking the 110th anniversary of both RAF Marham and No. 207 Squadron, while recognising the unwavering support of the families behind the station personnel who have spent much of the previous year deployed or away from home.

The striking artwork places the F-35B over a stylised Union Flag, symbolising the UK's contribution to NATO, Carrier Strike and F-35 partner nation operations. Designed to represent the UK Lightning Force, the patch reflects the aircraft's role at the forefront of air power—whether operating from RAF Marham, deployed overseas or embarked aboard the Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers.
